What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as a franchisee, you are required to use Bambu's Marks in accordance with their specifications. This requirement is further detailed in Sections 2.1 and 15.1 of the Franchise Agreement. This means that when representing your Bambu franchise, you must adhere to the brand's guidelines for using its trademarks, logos, and other identifying marks.
This requirement ensures brand consistency across all Bambu locations, which is a common practice in franchising. By maintaining a uniform brand image, Bambu aims to build customer recognition and trust. This consistency extends to advertising and promotional materials, where any use of the Bambu name and Marks must be approved by the franchisor and conform to their standards.
Specifically, while you can create your own local advertising, promotion, and social media content, all materials displaying the Bambu Marks must be in a format approved by Bambu. This includes ensuring that the advertising is conducted in a dignified manner and meets Bambu's standards. You must submit any advertising materials not previously approved at least 30 days before their release. Bambu retains the right to control all advertising using its Marks, including online advertising. This allows Bambu to maintain control over its brand image and marketing strategies, ensuring that all franchisees represent the brand in a consistent and approved manner.
