What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, an Associate of a Bambu franchise is permitted to disclose Confidential Information to other employees, agents, or representatives of Bambu or the Franchisee. However, this disclosure is explicitly limited.
The disclosure can only occur "to the extent necessary" for these individuals to perform their intended functions. This means the Associate must carefully consider whether the information is truly required for the other party to complete their job duties. Any disclosure beyond what is strictly necessary would be a violation of the agreement.
This restriction is in place to protect Bambu's Confidential Information, which the FDD emphasizes is valuable and unique. Franchisees and their associates must understand that unauthorized disclosure can cause irreparable harm to Bambu. This clause ensures that access to sensitive information is limited to those who genuinely need it for their work, safeguarding Bambu's competitive advantage and proprietary knowledge.
