What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu may charge an additional training fee if there are more than three individuals in the initial training program. Bambu's standard opening training program is designed for three individuals designated by the franchisee as "Bambū Certified Team Leaders." These individuals must be approved by Bambu and assume primary responsibility for operating the Bambū shoppe.

This policy has significant implications for franchisees. It means that the initial franchise fee covers training for only a limited number of key personnel. If a franchisee wants to train additional staff members beyond the three certified team leaders during the opening training, they will incur extra costs. The FDD does not specify the amount of this additional training fee, so prospective franchisees should clarify this with Bambu during their due diligence.

Franchisees are also responsible for all travel, lodging, meal expenses, and wages for themselves and their employees while attending the training program. Training participants will not receive any compensation from Bambu during the training period. This additional cost should be factored into the initial investment and operational budget when considering a Bambu franchise.
