What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Marketing and Technology Fund can be used for advertising in international, national, or regional media. This indicates that there are no specific geographic limitations preventing Bambu from utilizing the fund for marketing purposes across different regions. The fund is used to promote Bambu shoppes through various applications, including loyalty programs, catering, and charitable events. It also covers the costs of creating and distributing advertising and promotional materials across different media platforms.
Bambu has the discretion to administer the Marketing and Technology Fund, which can be used for a wide array of promotional activities. These activities include traditional advertising methods like print, radio, television, and newspaper ads, as well as modern approaches such as internet advertising, direct response literature, direct mailings, and social media marketing. The fund also supports public relations programs, surveys to assess advertising effectiveness, Franchisee Advisory Council expenses, convention expenses, and other related expenditures.
For franchisees, this means that the Marketing and Technology Fund is a resource that supports brand promotion on a broad scale, without being restricted to a specific locality. While franchisees are responsible for their local advertising efforts, the fund contributes to larger-scale campaigns that can benefit all Bambu locations.
