What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the successor franchise fee is payable when you sign the then-current Franchise Agreement. This fee is $15,000. This fee is only payable if you opt for and qualify for a successor franchise at the end of the initial franchise term.
This means that if a franchisee chooses to renew their franchise agreement at the end of its initial term, and if they meet Bambu's qualifications for renewal, they will need to pay this $15,000 fee at the time of signing the new agreement. This fee covers the cost of extending the franchise rights for another term.
It is important to note that additional training may be required when a franchisee signs a successor franchise agreement. The FDD does not specify whether this additional training incurs further costs, but it is a point a prospective franchisee should clarify with Bambu.
