What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu retains significant rights regarding translated or adapted materials. Specifically, if a franchisee is required to translate any advertising or other materials related to their Bambu shoppe for use in their protected territory, they must do so according to the terms of Bambu's translation agreement.

Bambu explicitly reserves the right to copyright these translated or adapted materials in any country or territory. Furthermore, Bambu owns all United States and foreign copyrights for all translations, adaptations, and derivative versions of the materials.

Most importantly, Bambu has the right to market these translated or adapted versions in any manner they choose, and in all countries of the world. This means that while a franchisee may need to translate materials for their local market, Bambu ultimately controls and owns the rights to those translations and can use them as they see fit in any global market. This clause ensures that Bambu maintains brand consistency and can leverage marketing materials across different regions without franchisee restrictions.
