What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all traveling, lodging, and meal expenses associated with attending any mandatory training programs and the annual convention. This applies to both the initial training program for Bambu Certified Team Leaders and any additional training programs that Bambu may require.
This means that as a prospective Bambu franchisee, you will need to factor in these costs when budgeting for your franchise. These expenses can include transportation to and from the training location or convention, hotel accommodations, and the cost of meals during your stay. The FDD specifies that Bambu may also charge a fee or tuition for any training that the franchisee requests or that Bambu requires specifically for the franchisee.
Furthermore, the franchisee is also responsible for any travel, lodging, and meal expenses incurred by their personnel during the training program. This indicates that if you send employees to training, you will need to cover their expenses as well. It is important to note that training participants will not receive any compensation from Bambu while attending training.
In summary, franchisees should be prepared to incur significant expenses related to training and conventions, and these costs should be carefully considered when evaluating the overall investment required to operate a Bambu franchise.
