What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the travel, lodging, and meal expenses of Bambu employees related to an on-site assessment of a proposed location. Bambu may send a representative to the proposed location at the franchisee's request to conduct an on-site assessment before approving the site.

This means that if a prospective Bambu franchisee wants the franchisor to evaluate a potential location, they will have to pay for the travel, accommodation, and food costs incurred by Bambu's representative during the assessment. This is in addition to other costs associated with finding and securing a location, such as lease negotiation and legal fees.

This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it ensures that the franchisor's costs are covered when providing additional support to franchisees during the site selection process. Franchisees should factor in these potential expenses when budgeting for their initial investment.
