What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu Certified Team Leaders play a crucial role in the operation of a Bambu franchise. Franchisees must employ at least three Bambu Certified Team Leaders who have successfully completed Bambu's training program. These leaders are responsible for the supervision and management of the Bambu store. At least one of these leaders must be available at all times to be present at the store if Bambu demands it. Furthermore, to ensure dedicated management, at least one Bambu Certified Team Leader cannot be involved in any other business or activity that would conflict with their responsibilities at the Bambu store.
In practical terms, this means that a franchisee must ensure that their designated team leaders are fully trained and capable of managing the store's operations effectively. The requirement for a minimum of three certified leaders ensures that there is adequate coverage for supervision and management. The availability requirement means that franchisees need to structure their management team to accommodate potential demands from Bambu for a certified leader to be present. The restriction on outside business activities for at least one leader highlights the importance Bambu places on having dedicated and focused management at each location.
Moreover, the Bambu Certified Team Leaders are authorized to designate Shift Leaders from the qualified employees to be present at the store during all operating hours when a Bambu Certified Team Leader is not present. Franchisees are also authorized to allow part-time employees to be Shift Leaders.
Overall, the Bambu Certified Team Leader role is central to maintaining operational standards and ensuring compliance with Bambu's requirements. Franchisees should carefully select and train individuals for these positions to ensure the smooth and successful operation of their Bambu franchise.
