What is the requirement for the availability of a Bambu Certified Team Leader at a Bambu shoppe?

You are not required to participate personally in the direct day-to-day management and/or operation of your shoppe. However, at all times during the term of your Franchise Agreement, you must have at least three designated Bambū Certified Team Leaders, one of which may be you, who are responsible for the supervision and management of your Bambū shoppe. One of your Bambū Certified Team Leaders must be available at all times to be at the Bambū shoppe upon our demand. At least one of your Bambū Certified Team Leaders may not engage in any other business or other activity, directly or indirectly, that requires any significant management responsibility or time commitment, or otherwise may conflict with his or her obligations to operate and manage the shoppe. We do not require that the Bambū Certified Team Leaders have an equity interest in the shoppe. If you sign a MUD Agreement, or if you otherwise acquire and operate multiple Bambū shoppes, you must designate at least one Bambū Certified Team Leader to be responsible on a full-time basis for the supervision and management of each shoppe that you operate. The Bambū Certified Team Leader shall assign one or more qualified employees ("Shift Leaders"), one of whom must be present at the shoppe during all operating hours when a Bambū Certified Team Leader is not present. According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not required to participate personally in the direct day-to-day management of their shoppe. However, franchisees must employ at least three Bambu Certified Team Leaders, one of whom may be the franchisee. These leaders are responsible for the supervision and management of the Bambu shoppe.
One of the key requirements is that at least one Bambu Certified Team Leader must be available at all times to be at the Bambu shoppe upon demand by Bambu. Additionally, to ensure dedicated management, at least one of the Bambu Certified Team Leaders cannot be involved in any other business or activity that could conflict with their responsibilities at the Bambu location.
If a Bambu Certified Team Leader is not present during all operating hours, the team leader must assign one or more qualified employees as Shift Leaders to be present at the shoppe. These Shift Leaders can be part-time employees. This structure ensures that the Bambu shoppe is always supervised by either a certified leader or a qualified employee during operating hours.
