What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee (or, if the franchisee is not an individual, an owner designated by Bambu) is required to attend the annual convention of franchise owners. This means that if you own a Bambu franchise, either you as the individual owner, or a designated owner if the franchise is owned by a company, must attend the annual convention.

This requirement ensures that all Bambu franchisees or their designated representatives stay informed about the brand's current strategies, updates, and best practices. It also provides a platform for networking and collaboration among franchisees.

The franchisee is responsible for all traveling, lodging, and meal expenses associated with attending the annual convention. This could represent a significant cost for franchisees, so it's important to factor these expenses into your budget when considering a Bambu franchise. Franchisees should also be aware that Bambu may also require the franchisee to attend additional training specifically for the franchisee if Bambu deems it necessary or appropriate.
