What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu requires the Associate to acknowledge that the confidential information is necessary for the operation of a Bambu shoppe. The Associate must recognize that Bambu or the Franchisee will disclose certain confidential information strictly necessary for running the shoppe.

This acknowledgement is part of a broader agreement where the Associate recognizes the confidential information's value and uniqueness, understanding that it forms a significant portion of Bambu's assets. The Associate agrees not to use this information for personal gain during their affiliation or after its termination. They are also prohibited from disclosing it to any third party without Bambu's prior written consent.

This requirement ensures that individuals involved with a Bambu franchise understand the importance of protecting the brand's proprietary information. It also legally binds them to maintain confidentiality, safeguarding Bambu's competitive advantage and operational methods. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the franchisor's intellectual property and trade secrets.
