Bambu Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You or each of your Bambū Certified Team Leaders will need to also obtain food safety manager certification from ServSafe® National Restaurant Association ("ServSafe®") or from another food safety certification program approved by your state and local environmental and health requirements. We do not provide this training. You will be required to pay the fees associated with that training to the third-party provider.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu does not provide ServSafe® training. The FDD states that franchisees or their Bambū Certified Team Leaders must obtain food safety manager certification from ServSafe® National Restaurant Association or another food safety certification program approved by their state and local environmental and health requirements.
Prospective franchisees are responsible for paying the fees associated with this training to a third-party provider. This means that franchisees will need to budget for the cost of ServSafe® or equivalent training when starting their Bambu franchise.
Franchisees should check with their local health department to determine which food safety certifications are accepted in their area. They should also inquire with Bambu about any specific requirements or recommendations for food safety training providers.
