What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the two-day preopening owner operations orientation and training program is conducted at the Bambu shoppe located in Grand Prairie, Texas, or at an alternative location approved by Bambu. This training is required for the franchisee and one other designated Bambu Certified Team Leader and must be completed approximately two months before the opening training.
This preopening orientation is in addition to the more extensive opening training program that consists of approximately 88 hours over 11 combined days of pre- and post-opening consultation, along with seven days of opening training. The opening training is scheduled after a successful site review and pre-opening assessment. Franchisees must also notify Bambu when they pass their Environmental Health Department Inspection to schedule the opening training.
Prospective franchisees should note that they are responsible for all traveling, lodging, and meal expenses, and wages incurred by them and their employees in connection with attendance at the Training Program. Training participants will not receive any compensation from Bambu while attending the training. This financial responsibility should be factored into the initial investment costs when considering a Bambu franchise.
