What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to have a mobile smart phone with a minimum of 1 GB of combined data plan. This phone must meet Bambu's standards and specifications and be kept on for communication via SMS.
This requirement ensures that franchisees can receive and send communications effectively, which is crucial for operational efficiency and staying connected with Bambu. The franchisee bears the responsibility for the costs associated with the phone and data plan.
Bambu retains the right to modify these technology requirements. The franchisee must be prepared to adapt to these changes, which may involve purchasing different or additional services, hardware, software, or applications, potentially including a different POS system. These changes can occur with 90 days' notice from Bambu, and the franchisee is responsible for any related subscription fees.
