What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Marketing and Technology Fee is payable on the first day of each month. This payment schedule begins in the month immediately following the commencement of operations of the franchisee's Bambu shop.
Bambu also has the right to demand that the monthly Marketing and Technology Fee payments be made weekly or bi-weekly if the franchisee does not make payments on time, does not submit the required payment in full, or does not keep enough money in its accounts for Bambu to take the amounts owed. Franchisees also authorize Bambu to debit their checking or savings accounts for the payment of the Marketing and Technology Fees.
If a franchisee fails to pay the Marketing and Technology Fee when it is due, they will owe interest on top of the amount already owed. The interest rate will be the highest legal rate for open account credit, but it will not be more than 1½ percent per month. Bambu also reserves the right to automatically assess Franchisee a monthly $50 late charge for any Marketing and Technology Fee payment which is not timely paid, which late fee shall be due and payable in full upon demand.
