What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific standards and specifications for their shoppes. These mandatory items are detailed in the Owner Operations Manual and policy releases, accessible through the Franchisee Resource Center (FRC). Franchisees gain access to the FRC after signing the Franchise Agreement, where they can find various materials, including training resources, a blog, a forum, notices, marketing materials, and the ordering platform. Bambu retains the right to modify these FRC Materials at its discretion.

The mandatory standards and specifications cover a range of items crucial to maintaining brand uniformity and quality. These include menu items and their nutritional information, finishes, counter design, the POS/merchant service system, loyalty rewards program equipment, logoed paper products, uniforms, insurance coverage, advertising materials, essential equipment, certain supplies, and required reports. Franchisees must also obtain Bambu's prior written approval for their final plan, signage, and interior design to ensure compliance with brand standards.

Bambu also emphasizes the importance of communication through SMS (small message service) via email, text messages, or other electronic methods. Any standards and specifications communicated through SMS are considered part of the FRC Materials, and franchisees are obligated to comply with them. This highlights the need for franchisees to stay connected and responsive to updates from Bambu to ensure they are meeting all mandatory requirements for operating their shoppe.
