The English language will be regarded as the authoritative and official text of this Agreement; however, this Agreement may be translated into the language in dominant use in the Protected Area, at Franchisee's expense, in the event that translation is necessary for any reason, including for the purpose of registration of this Agreement with the applicable governmental authority.
Nevertheless, in the event that any discrepancies exist between the English text and the translated text, the English text will be considered the official text of this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the English language is the authoritative text of the franchise agreement. However, the agreement may be translated into the dominant language of the franchisee's protected area if translation is required for any reason, including registration with a governmental authority. The franchisee bears the expense of this translation.
Despite the possibility of a translated agreement, the FDD stipulates that in the event of any discrepancies between the English version and the translated version, the English text will prevail and be considered the official and binding version of the agreement.
This clause is included to ensure consistency and legal certainty, as the original English version is the one Bambu uses as its standard. A prospective franchisee should be proficient in English or engage their own translator to ensure they fully understand the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement.
