What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for each additional shoppe after the first is $39,000. However, if the franchisee has entered into a Multi-Unit Development (MUD) Agreement, $19,000 of the development fee will be credited towards this initial franchise fee.
In practice, this means that a franchisee signing a MUD agreement pays a development fee upfront for the rights to develop multiple locations. A portion of this development fee, specifically $19,000, is then credited towards the initial franchise fee for each subsequent Bambu shoppe.
Therefore, after applying the credit from the development fee, the remaining balance of the initial franchise fee due upon execution of the Franchise Agreement for each additional shoppe is $20,000. This remaining balance must be paid no later than the deadline outlined in the Development Schedule. Franchisees are also required to pay a training fee as outlined in each individual Franchise Agreement.
