We will consult with you regarding your construction documents, which must be prepared by our designated architectural firm or another architect you select, and we approve.
We must approve those documents before you submit them for permitting and construction begins, and if any suggested changes to the plans deviate materially from the initial kitchen workflow design and equipment specifications we provide to you.
You are responsible for the cost of any architectural designs and mechanical drawings that you obtain, and for modifying any plans that we may provide to you, and for the cost of construction. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee chooses their own architect, Bambu must still approve the construction documents. Bambu will consult with the franchisee regarding their construction documents, whether they are prepared by Bambu's designated architectural firm or another architect selected by the franchisee.
This approval is required before the franchisee can submit the documents for permitting and before construction can begin. Additionally, if any suggested changes to the plans deviate materially from the initial kitchen workflow design and equipment specifications that Bambu provides, these changes must also be approved by Bambu.
The franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with architectural designs and mechanical drawings, including any modifications to plans provided by Bambu, as well as the overall cost of construction. This ensures that all Bambu locations adhere to the brand's standards and specifications, regardless of who prepares the construction documents.
