What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is required to translate advertising or other materials for use in their protected territory, they must do so according to the terms of Bambu's current translation agreement. Bambu retains the right to copyright these translated or adapted materials in any country or territory.

Bambu owns the United States and all foreign copyrights for all translations, adaptations, and derivative versions of the materials. This means that while a franchisee may be required to translate materials, Bambu maintains full ownership and control over those translations.

Bambu also has the right to market these translated or adapted versions in any manner they choose, in any country worldwide. This clause ensures that Bambu maintains control over its brand and marketing materials, even when translations are necessary for specific territories. The franchisee must adhere to the specific translation agreement provided by Bambu, giving Bambu ultimate authority over the translated content and its use.
