Answer from 2025 FDD Document

At our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, periodically provide specifications to you for any maximum or minimum prices we establish to be charged by you for products and programs in your Bambū shoppe.

You must comply with the maximum and minimum pricing guidelines we establish.

If we do not establish pricing limits for certain products and programs, we may provide you with suggested prices for those items at our discretion. (Section 10.1.m of the Franchise Agreement).

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Bambu does not establish maximum or minimum pricing limits for certain products and programs, they may provide franchisees with suggested prices for those items at their discretion. This means that while Bambu may not mandate specific prices in all cases, they can still offer guidance on pricing strategy.

For a prospective franchisee, this provides some flexibility in pricing decisions. However, it's important to understand how Bambu determines these suggested prices and whether they are based on factors like local market conditions, competitor pricing, and cost of goods. Franchisees should consider whether these suggested prices align with their own business goals and local market realities.

It is also important to note that Bambu retains the right to establish maximum and minimum pricing guidelines, which franchisees must comply with. This highlights the importance of understanding the circumstances under which Bambu might set mandatory price limits versus offering suggested prices. Franchisees should inquire about Bambu's general pricing philosophy and how it is applied in practice.
