What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu will conduct inspections and reviews of a franchised location during regular business hours. The franchisee has the option to be present during these inspections. However, Bambu retains the right to conduct inspections without providing prior notice to the franchisee. This allows Bambu to ensure compliance with their standards and specifications at any time, even unexpectedly.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors need to maintain consistent quality and brand standards across all locations. The ability to inspect without notice gives Bambu more flexibility to monitor operations and address any issues promptly.
For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared for inspections at any time during regular business hours. Maintaining consistent adherence to Bambu's standards and specifications is crucial to avoid any negative findings during these inspections. While franchisees can be present, they should also ensure their staff is well-trained and prepared to handle inspections independently.
