What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted from transshipping or reshipping products. The FDD states that franchisees "may not fill 'wholesale orders' selling products or programs on- or off-premises, by mail order or through catalogs or the Internet, or transship or reship products." This restriction is in place to maintain control over the distribution and quality of Bambu products.

This restriction means that a franchisee's sales are generally limited to direct sales from their physical Bambu location. They cannot act as a distributor or supplier to other businesses or customers outside of the approved sales channels. This limitation helps Bambu ensure brand consistency and prevent unauthorized sales or distribution of its products.

However, the FDD does state that franchisees may offer catering services or utilize third-party app delivery and other online delivery programs, provided they adhere to Bambu's standards and specifications for these programs. This provides some avenues for expanding sales beyond the traditional in-store model, but these options are subject to Bambu's oversight and approval.
