What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have the option to be present during inspections conducted by Bambu. Bambu conducts these inspections and reviews during regular business hours. However, Bambu retains the right to conduct inspections without providing prior notice to the franchisee.
This means that while franchisees can request to be present during scheduled inspections, they should also be prepared for unannounced visits from Bambu to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
The ability for Bambu to conduct unannounced inspections is a fairly common practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to get an accurate view of the daily operations and adherence to brand standards without the franchisee having time to prepare or correct any deficiencies beforehand. Franchisees should ensure they and their staff are consistently following Bambu's operational guidelines to be ready for any inspection.
