What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, a franchisee must notify all of their service providers, including internet and telephone service providers, Yelp, Google, and other online directory publishers, about the termination or expiration of their right to use any telephone number and any regular, classified, or other telephone directory listings associated with any mark.
This notification must also include authorization for the transfer of these telephone numbers and directory listings to Bambu or its designee. This requirement ensures that Bambu maintains control over its brand identity and customer communication channels even after a franchise agreement ends.
This obligation is important for prospective franchisees to understand, as it highlights the importance of maintaining a professional relationship with Bambu and adhering to the terms of the franchise agreement, even when the agreement concludes. It also ensures a smooth transition of business operations and prevents any potential confusion for customers who may still associate the telephone numbers and directory listings with the Bambu brand.
