What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if there isn't a designated or approved supplier for a specific product, piece of equipment, ingredient, food item, supply, material, or program, a franchisee must propose other suppliers to Bambu for prior written approval. These proposed suppliers must meet all of Bambu's specifications and standards regarding quality, composition, finish, appearance, and service.

Furthermore, the proposed suppliers must adequately demonstrate their capacity and ability to supply the franchisee's needs. This includes providing the necessary quantities, at the required times, and with the reliability needed for the efficient operation of the Bambu shop.

This requirement ensures that even when a designated supplier isn't available, the franchisee maintains the quality and consistency of products and services that are characteristic of the Bambu brand. It also gives Bambu control over its supply chain, even if they do not have pre-existing relationships with specific vendors for every item a franchisee might need.
