What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from representing themselves as "Bambu Franchising LLC." This restriction is in place to ensure that customers and the public understand that the franchise is independently owned and operated, and not a direct extension of the Bambu corporate entity.
To maintain this distinction, Bambu requires franchisees to clearly identify themselves as a "Bambū Licensee" or "Bambū Franchisee" in all advertising, promotional materials, letterheads, and emails. This ensures that there is no confusion about the ownership and operation of the Bambu location. The specific phrasing and manner of this identification may be further detailed in the FRC Materials, which franchisees must adhere to.
This requirement is a standard practice in franchising, designed to protect the brand's integrity while also clarifying the franchisee's independent status. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand these branding guidelines to avoid any potential conflicts or breaches of the franchise agreement.
