What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to renew or extend their franchise term, a franchisee must sign a new agreement and a Successor Franchise Rider. This rider is included as Exhibit E to the Franchise Agreement.
In addition to signing these documents, the franchisee must meet other criteria to be eligible for renewal. These criteria include providing notice to Bambu, not having more than three defaults on record, remodeling the shoppe to current standards, and attending additional training as required by Bambu. The franchisee must also pay the required renewal fee.
It is important to note that when a Bambu franchisee seeks to acquire successor franchise rights, they may be required to sign a contract with terms and conditions that are materially different from their original Franchise Agreement.
