mbu has 30 days from the date of the written notice of the proposed transfer to approve or disapprove in writing of Franchisee's proposed transfer. Franchisee acknowledges that the proposed transferee shall be evaluated for approval by Bambu based on the same criteria as is then currently being used to assess new franchisees of Bambu and that such proposed transferee shall be provided, if appropriate, with such pre-transfer disclosures as may be required by state or federal law.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a proposed transferee will be evaluated using the same criteria Bambu uses to assess new franchisees. Bambu has 30 days from the date of the written notice of the proposed transfer to approve or disapprove the transfer in writing. The proposed transferee will also be provided with any pre-transfer disclosures that may be required by state or federal law.

Prior to the transfer, the franchisee must provide Bambu with written notice 30 days before the proposed effective date of transfer. This notice must include detailed information to allow Bambu to evaluate the terms and conditions of the proposed transfer, including a written offer from the proposed transferee.

To transfer a Bambu franchise, the franchisee must ensure the shoppe has been open for at least 30 days and obtain written consent from Bambu. The franchisee must also pay all outstanding amounts owed to Bambu and ensure the proposed transferee satisfactorily completes the required training program. The proposed transferee must also execute a new Franchise Agreement and related documents, which will supersede the original agreement. The franchisee or proposed transferee must also pay a transfer fee, as outlined in Attachment I of the Franchise Agreement.
