Bambu Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If you request it in writing to us, 60 days after the end of each year we will send you an annual unaudited financial statement for the Marketing and Technology Fund which indicates how the Marketing and Technology Fund has been spent during the previous year. Because we do not have the Fund audited, audited financial statements are not available to you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit a written request to receive the annual unaudited financial statement for the Marketing and Technology Fund. This statement will be sent 60 days after the end of each year and will detail how the funds were spent during the previous year.

This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where marketing funds are collected and managed by the franchisor. Franchisees typically contribute a percentage of their gross sales or a fixed monthly fee to these funds. The purpose of the fund is to support marketing and advertising efforts that benefit the entire franchise system.

It is important to note that the financial statement provided is unaudited, meaning it has not been independently verified by a certified public accountant. While this is not uncommon, franchisees should carefully review the statement and ask Bambu for clarification on any items that are unclear or raise concerns. Franchisees might also want to inquire about the process Bambu uses to ensure the accuracy and transparency of the fund's financial reporting.

Understanding how the Marketing and Technology Fund is managed and spent is crucial for franchisees, as it directly impacts the brand's visibility and marketing effectiveness. By requesting and reviewing the annual financial statement, franchisees can stay informed and hold Bambu accountable for using the funds in a way that benefits the entire franchise system.
