6. TRAINING

6.1 Opening Training Program.

a. Upon payment of the final installment of the Initial Franchise Fee as set forth in Section 4.1 hereof, Bambu will schedule Franchisee's opening training program (the "Training Program"). Three individuals designated by Franchisee to assume primary responsibility for operating the Bambū shoppe and approved by Bambu as "Bambū Certified Team Leaders," are required to attend and successfully complete the Training Program, which is conducted in part by Bambu at the Franchised Location. All individuals designated for Bambū Certified Team Leaders must attend and participate in the entire Training Program, including the onsite training program. Only individuals who will be serving as Bambū Certified Team Leaders, or the individual with full-time management responsibility for the Bambū shoppe, may attend Bambu's Training Program. The Training Program may include verbal, written, online, video conferencing or audiotaped classroom training and on-the-job training for the front and back of the shoppe (including, but not limited to, customer service, cooking, ingredients and drink preparation), and shoppe maintenance. If there are more than three individuals in the training Program, Bambu may charge its then current additional training fee to train such additional persons. Franchisee shall be responsible for any and all traveling, lodging, and meal expenses, and wages incurred by Franchisee and its employees in connection with attendance at the training program. Training participants will not receive any compensation from Bambu while attending Bambu's training.

In addition to the opening training, and approximately two months prior to the estimated date of the opening training, Franchisee, if an individual, and one other designated Bambū Certified Team Leader shall attend a two day pre-opening owner operations orientation and training program conducted at a Bambū shoppe designated by us.
  • 6.2 Length of Training. The Training Program consists of a combination of approximately 88 hours over a combination of approximately 11 days of onboarding, video conferencing and onsite training, including seven days of onsite opening training and support.

Participants will not receive any compensation from Bambu during the training. Bambu also makes the Training Program available to replacement or additional Bambū Certified Team Leaders during the term of the Franchise Agreement, but reserves the right to charge a tuition or fee, payable in advance, based on its then-current published prices. The availability of these training programs is subject to space considerations, training staff availability, and prior commitments to new Bambū franchisees.
