This tuition is payable in advance. The availability of training for additional or replacement Bambū Certified Team Leaders is subject to prior commitments to new franchisees and is scheduled based on available space.
You or each of your Bambū Certified Team Leaders will need to also obtain food safety manager certification from ServSafe® National Restaurant Association ("ServSafe®") or from another food safety certification program approved by your state and local environmental and health requirements. We do not provide this training. You will be required to pay the fees associated with that training to the third-party provider.
We may require you or other designated employees to attend and satisfactorily complete various other training courses, including on-line training that we periodically choose to provide at times and locations that we designate. We will not require attendance at more than two of these courses, for more than a total of five days, during any calendar year.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, training availability for additional or replacement Bambu Certified Team Leaders is not guaranteed and is subject to certain conditions. Bambu will make the Training Program available to additional or replacement team leaders during the franchise term at their then-published tuition rates, which are detailed in the Owner Operations Manual and payable in advance.
However, the availability of this training is contingent upon prior commitments to new franchisees and is scheduled based on available space. This means that a franchisee might have to wait for an opening in the training schedule, especially if Bambu is focusing on onboarding new franchisees. Bambu also reserves the right to charge a tuition or fee, based on their current published prices, for training replacement or additional Bambu Certified Team Leaders, payable in advance.
Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred by their personnel during the Training Program. These conditions highlight the importance of planning for potential staff turnover and the associated costs and scheduling challenges for training new leaders. It is also important to note that Bambu can require the franchisee to make necessary changes and reschedule the Training Program if the designated Bambu Certified Team Leaders are not able to operate the shoppe according to their standards, with the franchisee bearing the cost of rescheduling, including transportation, lodging, and meals for Bambu's training staff.
