What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to any maximum and minimum pricing guidelines that Bambu establishes for products and programs sold at the shoppe. Bambu retains the discretion to set these price limits. If Bambu does not establish specific pricing limits, they may provide suggested prices for certain items.
This policy gives Bambu control over pricing strategies within the franchise system, which can impact a franchisee's profitability and pricing flexibility. Franchisees need to understand how these pricing guidelines are determined and how frequently they might change. It is important to note that while Bambu may suggest prices, franchisees are only obligated to follow the established maximum and minimum pricing guidelines.
Prospective franchisees should inquire about Bambu's typical pricing strategies, how often pricing is reviewed or changed, and the factors that influence these decisions. Understanding the historical pricing trends and the level of flexibility franchisees have in setting prices can help in assessing the potential profitability and operational control of a Bambu franchise.
