What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to Bambu's advertising policies concerning the pricing of products and services. Bambu retains the authority to establish maximum, minimum, or fixed prices for the items a franchisee offers, unless prohibited by law.
If Bambu sets a maximum price, franchisees cannot exceed that price. Conversely, if a minimum price is set, franchisees cannot sell below that price. If Bambu establishes a set price, the franchisee must adhere to that exact price. However, if Bambu only suggests prices, these are merely recommendations, and franchisees have the autonomy to set their own prices, which can be higher or lower than the suggested prices.
This policy ensures that Bambu maintains a level of control over pricing to protect brand consistency and value. For a prospective franchisee, this means they may have limited flexibility in setting prices, especially if Bambu establishes maximum, minimum, or set prices. It is important to understand Bambu's pricing strategy and how it might affect profitability before investing in the franchise.
