What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, both Bambu and the franchisee have the ability to adjust the hours of operation for a Bambu shoppe. The franchisee can adjust hours as set forth in the OOM (Operations and Orientation Manual) and with Bambu's prior written consent. Bambu can also adjust the hours of operation. These adjustments can be made for the time of day, day of the week, holidays, and time of year.
This means that while franchisees have some autonomy in setting their store hours, Bambu retains significant control. Franchisees need to adhere to the guidelines in the OOM and obtain written approval from Bambu for any changes. This ensures consistency across all Bambu locations and allows Bambu to respond to market trends and seasonal variations.
For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding the guidelines outlined in the OOM and maintaining open communication with Bambu regarding any desired changes to operating hours. While franchisees can propose adjustments, Bambu's approval is necessary, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the franchise relationship in this aspect of the business.
