What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to renew a franchise agreement, franchisees, their Bambū Certified Team Leaders, and other individuals Bambu requires must attend and successfully complete any additional training that Bambu imposes. This condition is one of several that must be met to exercise the option for a successor franchise.

Other conditions include compliance with all provisions of the current franchise agreement, including timely payments of all fees. Compliance means not receiving more than three written notifications of breach from Bambu during the current term. Franchisees must also upgrade or remodel the Bambū shoppe to meet current standards, or secure a substitute premises approved by Bambu.

Additionally, franchisees must execute a successor franchise rider with a general release of claims against Bambu and pay a successor franchise fee as outlined in Attachment I of the Franchise Disclosure Document. Franchisees must provide written notice of their intent to renew the franchise no more than 270 and no less than 180 days before the agreement's expiration. The successor franchise rights become effective upon signing the then-current franchise agreement offered to new Bambu franchisees.
