What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor's acceptance of a location does not guarantee the success or profitability of that location. While Bambu assists franchisees in site selection by providing criteria for an acceptable site and assessing proposed locations based on factors like location character, proximity to major roads, income levels, demographics, competition, shoppe demand, lease terms and rates, visibility, tenant mix, walk-by traffic, signage, and parking availability, this approval is not a guarantee of financial success. Bambu may also send a representative for an on-site assessment at the franchisee's request, with the franchisee responsible for covering all associated travel, lodging, and meal expenses.

Bambu also assists with the lease negotiation process by providing a general workflow design or layout for the Franchised Location, typically after the franchisee has entered into the LOI for their Franchised Location and before they have signed the lease, provided that they have entered into the Franchise Agreement prior to signing the lease. Bambu will also assist in the review and negotiations of the lease, by providing recommendations and suggestions of lease terms. The franchisor must approve the franchisee's LOI and lease prior to execution.

This disclaimer is typical in franchising, as the success of a franchise location depends on numerous factors beyond just the location itself, including the franchisee's management skills, local market conditions, and overall economic trends. Prospective Bambu franchisees should not rely solely on the franchisor's location approval as an indicator of potential profitability. It is crucial for franchisees to conduct their own thorough market research and due diligence to assess the viability of any proposed location.
