What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you choose to appoint a manager for your franchise, that manager must complete a training course to the satisfaction of B Bops. The FDD states that B Bops has the right to approve the qualifications of your manager, and such approval is contingent upon the manager completing the required training course.
The training course is conducted by B Bops at its principal office and includes on-site instruction regarding standard management procedures for operating a B Bops Restaurant. The company provides the course and all necessary materials for up to two people as part of the initial franchise fee. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred by the franchisee or their employees while attending the training.
If B Bops determines that your proposed manager is not qualified during the training, they will notify you, and you will have the opportunity to select a substitute manager for the course. B Bops may also extend the standard training period if they deem additional training necessary for satisfactory completion. This ensures that the manager is adequately prepared to uphold B Bops's standards and procedures.
If you hire a new manager during the franchise term, B Bops will provide an initial training course for that manager upon payment of a fee not to exceed $2,000. This training will be structured similarly to the initial training course provided before the franchise opens. You will also be responsible for all compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred while participating in the training.
