What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the on-site instruction during the training course covers standard management procedures for operating a B Bops Restaurant. This training is mandatory for the franchisee or their proposed manager before the restaurant opens.
The B Bops training course and all necessary materials for up to two people are included in the initial franchise fee. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred while attending the training. This means that while the core training program is covered, franchisees need to budget for the additional costs of attending the training.
B Bops retains the discretion to determine if a proposed manager is qualified during the training. If the manager is deemed unqualified, the franchisee can select a substitute manager for the course. Additionally, B Bops can extend the training period if they believe additional training is necessary for satisfactory completion. This ensures that B Bops maintains a certain standard of operational knowledge among its franchisees and managers.
