What standards and specifications apply to a relocated B Bops franchise during renewal?

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is unable to maintain possession of the franchise premises or if both parties agree to relocate, the franchisee must secure an alternative site approved by B Bops. This new site must be developed according to B Bops's then-current standards and specifications.

This means that if a B Bops franchisee needs to relocate their restaurant at the time of renewal, they cannot simply move to any location. The new site must meet B Bops's approval, ensuring it aligns with the brand's image and operational requirements. Furthermore, the development of the relocated B Bops restaurant must adhere to the most up-to-date standards and specifications that B Bops is using for new franchises at that time.

B Bops is entitled to assess a reasonable charge to the franchisee for assistance in the relocation of the franchise premises, but this charge cannot exceed $2,000 and is in addition to the renewal fee.
