Does the B Bops single-unit franchise arrangement entitle the franchisee to open additional locations?

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a single-unit franchise agreement does not grant the franchisee the right to open additional locations. The FDD outlines two distinct franchise arrangements: single-unit and multiple-unit. The single-unit arrangement grants an exclusive territory consisting of a two-mile radius around the franchise premises.

This means that a franchisee entering into a single-unit agreement is limited to operating a single B Bops restaurant at an approved location. To expand and open additional locations, a franchisee would need to pursue a multiple-unit arrangement, also known as a Development Agreement.

The Development Agreement grants the franchisee the exclusive right to establish multiple B Bops franchises within a defined trade area, subject to a development schedule. Therefore, if a prospective franchisee is interested in opening multiple B Bops locations, they should consider the multiple-unit arrangement rather than the single-unit option.
