What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to select a proposed site for each franchise they intend to develop. As part of the Development Agreement, franchisees must submit a written report to B Bops for approval. This report should include a description of the proposed site along with any other information or materials that B Bops may reasonably request.

Upon receiving the franchisee's report, B Bops will conduct an investigation of the proposed site. B Bops has the sole discretion to either approve or reject the site. The decision will be communicated to the franchisee in writing within thirty days of receiving the report. If the site is approved, B Bops will also advise the franchisee within the same 30-day period whether indoor seating will be required for the B Bops restaurant's construction and operation.

B Bops also considers factors such as the site's size, layout, adaptability for a B Bops Restaurant, population density, traffic patterns, the location of other fast-food restaurants, the cost of purchasing or leasing the site, and the accessibility of utilities and public services. While there's no set time limit for B Bops to approve or disapprove a site, the company anticipates the approval process will generally be completed within 60 days after the franchisee submits the site for approval. The FDD cautions franchisees against entering into any binding agreement for the purchase or lease of a proposed site before receiving approval from B Bops.
