Training Course. The Company requires that you, or your proposed manager, complete a training course to be conducted approximately forty-five (45) days prior to the opening of the Franchise. The course will be conducted on an "as needed" basis to coordinate with the opening of your Franchise. The training course will consist of approximately twenty-five (25) days of classroom instruction and on-site training in a B-Bop's Restaurant. The following table provides information on the subject matter covered in the course and the approximate hours of instruction:

The training course will be conducted by Robert Johnson and/or John Ferguson, each of whom have been responsible for management of a B-Bop's Restaurant since 1988. Portions of the course, particularly the on-site training, may be conducted by other members of B-Bop's management staff, each of whom have at least 2½ years of experience in managing and operating a B-Bop's Restaurant. Instructional materials used in the course will primarily consist of the Operations Manual. The course and all materials used in connection therewith are provided at the expense of the Company for up to two (2) persons. The Company will undertake to train additional persons for a fee agreed upon in advance between you and the Company.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, B Bops requires that the franchisee or their proposed manager complete a training course approximately 45 days before the franchise opens. This course consists of about 25 days of classroom instruction and on-site training at a B Bops Restaurant. The training course must be completed to the satisfaction of B Bops by the person responsible for the daily management and operation of the franchise. If B Bops determines that the proposed manager is not qualified, the franchisee will have the opportunity to select and enroll a substitute manager in the course. The course and all materials are provided at the expense of B Bops for up to two people.
Additional training may be provided to the franchisee or their employees, for which B Bops may charge a fee up to $2,000. If a franchisee requests a refresher training course, B Bops will provide it upon payment of a fee not exceeding $2,000. Similarly, if a new manager is hired during the franchise term, B Bops will provide an initial training course for the new manager for a fee not exceeding $2,000. This training will be structured and cover the same material as the initial training course.
