What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the expenses associated with training, including those of a substitute manager. The initial franchise fee covers the cost of the training course and materials for up to two people. However, the franchisee must pay for all compensation, travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred by themselves or their employees while attending the training.

This means that if the initial manager is deemed unqualified by B Bops during the training, and the franchisee needs to send a substitute manager, the franchisee will bear the costs for the substitute manager to attend the training course. These costs include the substitute manager's wages, travel expenses, and accommodation during the training period.

This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisees are generally responsible for the costs associated with training their personnel. It is important for prospective B Bops franchisees to factor in these potential training expenses, especially the possibility of needing to train a substitute manager, when budgeting for their initial investment.
