What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase equipment, fixtures, signage, supplies, and food and beverage products that are necessary to establish and operate the franchise. To maintain uniformity, these purchases must align with B Bops's specifications and standards.
Importantly, B Bops retains the option to designate specific suppliers, which may include B Bops itself or its affiliates, from which franchisees must purchase certain items. This allows B Bops to control the quality and consistency of products used throughout the franchise system. B Bops also reserves the right to introduce new items to the Licensed System and mandate that franchisees purchase these items according to B Bops's specifications or through approved suppliers.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they may be required to purchase equipment and supplies from B Bops or its designated suppliers. While this ensures uniformity, it may also limit the franchisee's ability to shop around for the best prices. It is important for potential franchisees to understand the costs associated with these required purchases and to factor them into their overall investment. Franchisees should inquire about the specific equipment and supplies they will need, the approved suppliers, and the potential for any future changes or additions to the required items.
