Site Approval. You will be granted the right to operate the Franchise at a specific site which must be approved in writing by the Company. The site selection process will generally proceed as follows. When you apply to purchase a Franchise, you will need to execute an Application Agreement. The Company will also sign the Application Agreement and will complete Exhibit A thereto specifying the trade area in which you propose to establish your Franchise. You will thereafter be responsible for selecting and securing an acceptable site in the trade area and submitting that site to the Company for its approval. The location and approval of a site for your Franchise will be part of the application process, and it is not anticipated that a Franchise Agreement will be executed until such time as an acceptable site has been located and approved. In the event an acceptable site cannot be located and approved, your application for a Franchise will not be approved and you will be entitled to receive a refund of the deposit as described in Item 5 of this disclosure document.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the location and approval of a site are indeed part of the application process. When applying to purchase a B Bops franchise, the prospective franchisee must execute an Application Agreement. B Bops will also sign this agreement and complete Exhibit A, specifying the trade area where the franchisee proposes to establish their franchise. The franchisee is then responsible for selecting and securing a site within that trade area and submitting it to B Bops for approval.
B Bops must approve the site in writing. The FDD states that a Franchise Agreement is not expected to be executed until an acceptable site has been located and approved by B Bops. If an acceptable site cannot be found and approved, the application for a B Bops franchise will not be approved, and the applicant is entitled to a refund of their deposit as described in Item 5 of the FDD.
In determining whether to approve a particular site, B Bops will consider factors such as the site's size, layout, adaptability for a B Bops Restaurant, population density, traffic patterns, the location of other fast-food restaurants, the cost of purchasing or leasing the site, and the accessibility of utility and public services. B Bops estimates that the approval process will generally be completed within 60 days after the site submission. The franchisee is cautioned against entering into any binding agreement for the purchase or lease of a proposed site before receiving approval from B Bops.
