What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the $5,000 deposit submitted with the Application Agreement will be applied toward payment of the initial franchise fee if B Bops decides to grant a franchise. For a single-unit franchise, the initial franchise fee is $30,000 if you do not already own an existing B Bops franchise. The deposit covers $5,000 of this fee, and the remaining $20,000 is due when you execute the Franchise Agreement. If you already own an existing B Bops franchise, the initial franchise fee for an additional franchise is $25,000, payable upon execution of the Franchise Agreement.
For a multiple-unit arrangement, the initial franchise fee for the first franchise is also $30,000, with subsequent franchises costing $20,000 each. The $5,000 deposit for development rights will be applied toward the initial franchise fee for each franchise established under the Development Agreement. If all franchises in the development schedule are established, the entire development fee will be applied to the initial franchise fees.
It is important to note that the initial franchise fee is generally non-refundable, except under specific circumstances. Additionally, B Bops provides opening assistance for a period before and after the franchise opening, but the franchisee is responsible for covering the round trip airline and hotel expenses incurred by B Bops representatives during this assistance period.
