What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to B Bops's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the restaurants owned and operated by B-Bop's, Inc., an affiliate of the franchisor, are located in the Des Moines, Iowa area. Specifically, B-Bop's, Inc. owns and operates ten B Bops restaurants in this region. This information is relevant to potential franchisees as it provides insight into the existing market presence and operational experience of the B Bops brand in a specific geographic area.
The fact that the affiliate operates restaurants in Des Moines, Iowa, suggests that this area may serve as a testing ground or a flagship market for B Bops. Prospective franchisees might consider this when evaluating the brand's performance and market acceptance. It's also worth noting that the franchisor, B-Bop's Franchising Corp., does not currently own or operate any B Bops restaurants itself, relying instead on its affiliate for company-owned operations.
For a potential franchisee, understanding the geographic concentration of company-owned stores can be valuable. It may indicate where the brand is most established and where it has the most experience in operating restaurants. This knowledge can inform decisions about where to potentially locate a new franchise and how to tailor the business to local market conditions. Further due diligence would involve researching the performance of these existing locations and understanding the competitive landscape in the Des Moines area.
