What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 B Bops Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is granted a nonexclusive right, license, and franchise to establish and operate a B Bops restaurant. This right is specifically for the location designated in the franchise agreement. The franchisee's rights are limited to operating a B Bops restaurant at the specified franchise premises exclusively, with no right to operate at any other location, whether permanent or temporary.

B Bops does not allow franchisees to subfranchise, sublicense, or authorize any other person to operate a B Bops restaurant or use the licensed system or marks. This restriction ensures that the B Bops brand maintains control over its operations and standards. The franchisee must operate the franchise in compliance with the franchise agreement and B Bops' standards, policies, and procedures as outlined in the confidential operations manual.

This nonexclusive right is granted for a term that commences on the effective date of the agreement and continues until the fifteenth anniversary, unless terminated earlier according to the agreement's provisions. The franchisee is expected to operate the franchise continually throughout this term, adhering to the agreement's terms and conditions. Any renewal of the franchise is governed by a separate section of the agreement.
